This research project was aimed to explore (1) current status and issues of applied improvisation in both domestically and internationally and (2) its appropriate plan, implementation and facilitation. The research/practice was carried out by The Research/Practice Group of Performative Learning where young researchers and theatre people work together. The concept of performative learning was used as a framework for analysis. A/R/Tography was used as a methodology.
Findings through the reflection of practice in which art, education and research were interacted were below; (1) characteristics of applied improvisation (2) a way to develop practice of applied improvisation (3) elements of applied improvisation which affects social activities. -

This research project was aimed to answer questions below; (1) How impro education is done in foreign countries? (2) What is an appropriate plan and facilitation of impro education? (3) What is new areas which impro education will be able to apply? (4) Which style of research and practice an impro education organization should take?
Action research was taken for a method of this research project. The author founded 'The Research/Practice Group of Performative Learning' where researchers/students and theatre people work together. We established a style of inquiry in which research, education and and creation circulate. -
