単体分割を用いた結び目と枠付き3次元多様体の量子不変量の研究

村松滉平氏(みずほリサーチ&テクノロジーズ)、田口光希氏（東京工業大学）との共同研究により、Benedetti-Petronioによるcombed 3次元多様体と3次元多様体のnormal o-graphによる組み合わせ的表示を改良した。normal o-graphの同値関係には、branchingを考慮すると16種類のMatveev-Piergallini moveが現れるが、それが主要なMatveev-Piergallini moveひとつとpure sliding moveの列で得られることを示した。さらにこの結果をframed 3次元多様体とspin 3次元多様体に対して拡張した。
鈴木拓己氏（東京工業大学） との共同研究により、折れ線結び目のパーシステントホモロジーを定義し基本的な性質を調べた。正円上に頂点をもつ多角形に対してはそのパーシステントホモロジーの挙動を完全に決定した。三葉結び目と８の字結び目に対してはそのパーシステントホモロジーのパーシステント図がそれらの結び目の幾何学的対称性を反映していることを観察した。
R. Kashaev、E. Nakazawa、S. Garoufalidisとの共同研究により、Benedetti-Petronioによる3次元多様体の表示に現れるCP moveがより簡単なmoveの列として表されることを示した。この簡単なmoveはquantum Teichmuller理論において現れるmoveであり、その理論がトポロジカルな不変量になることを示す際に使われる。
結び目の補空間のcanonicalなframingを構成した。このframingはある観点から量子不変量と相性の良いもので、このframingを用いて量子不変量の幾何学的性質を調べることができる。 -

From fiscal 2014 to fiscal 2018, I have studied topological aspects of the universal quantum sl2 invariant for links. J. B. Meilhan and I showed that the image of a certain projection of the universal quantum sl2 invariant is obtained by Milnor invariants. J. B. Meilhan and I also determined the dimensions and the characters, as the modules of the symmetric group, of the image and the kernel of the sl2 homotopy weight system. I gave a reconstruction of the universal quantum sl2 invariant using ideal triangulation of the link complements. This reconstruction gives a new framework to study quantum invariants.

絡み目の量子不変量と底タングルの普遍不変量

本研究の目的は「絡み目の幾何学的性質」と「量子不変量の代数的性質」との関係を明らかにすることである。本年度はミルナー不変量と普遍量子sl2不変量の関係を研究した。ミルナー不変量は絡み目とストリングリンクの古典的な不変量で、補空間の基本群という幾何学的な道具を用いて定義される。一方、普遍量子sl2不変量は量子群のテンソル積に値を取る量子不変量で、その定義は組み合わせ的であり、絡み目の幾何学的な性質を量子群の代数的な性質にどう反映しているのかが明らかでない。それを明らかにするための一歩として、幾何学的なミルナー不変量が普遍量子sl2不変量にどう現れるのかを調べた。結果として普遍量子sl2不変をある部分空間に射影した不変量がミルナー不変量で捉えられることが解った。さらに、HabeggerとMasbaumの先行研究と合わせると、この結果は普遍量子sl2不変量のウェイトシステムを部分的に定義したことにもなっている。普遍量子sl2不変量のウェイトシステムは代数的困難から未だ明らかになっておらず、部分的にでも定義できたことは大きな進展だった。またこの研究を通じて、ウェイトシステム全体を明らかにするために障害になっている問題も認識できた。
投稿していた論文「On the colored Jones polynomials of ribbon links, boundary links, and Brunnian links」が発表された。この論文発表で、それまでの一連の論文(ribbon, boundary, Brunnian linksの普遍量子s12不変量に関する研究)に区切りがついた形になった。 -
絡み目の量子不変量と底タングルの普遍量子不変量

量子トポロジーと絡み目や３次元多様体の幾何学的性質との関係について研究を進めている．平成２４年度は主に二つのテーマを中心に研究を進めた．一つ目はビングダブルと呼ばれる絡み目の変形操作の下での量子不変量の振る舞い，もう一つはミルナー不変量と量子不変量の関係である．
ビングダブルはn成分の絡み目からからn+1成分の絡み目を得る操作である．ビングダブルは絡み目の補空間の基本群やコンコルダンスとの関係において良く調べられている．また，与えられたミルナー不変量を持つ絡み目を構成する際に用いられる．今年度の結果として，ビングダブルした後の絡み目の色付きジョーンズ多項式を，元の絡み目の色付きジョーンズ多項式を用いて表す公式を得た．またこの結果を用いて，ビングダブルをした後の絡み目を３次元球面の中で手術して得られる整係数ホモロジー球面のunified Witten-Reshetikhin-Turaev不変量が，いくつかの円分多項式で普通より多く割れるということを示した．
２つ目のテーマとして、ミルナー不変量と普遍量子sl2不変量の関係を調べた．結果として，ミルナー不変量が普遍量子sl2不変量のある商に現れることを示した．また，その商空間の次元はミルナー不変量の次元よりも小さいため，普遍量子sl2不変量はミルナー不変量の情報を落としていることが解った． -
普遍不変量を用いた絡み目の量子不変量の研究

本研究の目的は絡み目や底タングルの幾何学的性質と量子不変量や普遍量子不変量の代数的性質の関係を明らかにすることである。
昨年度はリボン、境界と呼ばれる底タングルの普遍量子不変量の性質を調べた。当該年度は昨年度に引き続き底タングルの普遍量子s12不変量の幾何学的な性質のとの関係について研究を進め、ブルニアンと呼ばれる性質をもった底タングルの普遍量子s12不変量が量子群Uh(s12)のテンソル積のある小さな部分代数に入ることを示した。また、応用としてブルニアンと呼ばれる性質をもった絡み目の量子不変量がZ[q,q^{-1}]のある小さなイデアルに入ることも分かった。これらの結果を論文としてまとめ投稿した。また、リボン、境界ブルニアン絡み目に対するこれまでに得られた結果に現れたイデアルが単項イデアルであることを示し、その生成元を決定した。これも論文にして投稿した。
底タングルの幾何学的性質と普遍量子不変量の代数的性質の関係をつけたという結果は、絡み数を除いてはリボンの結果が初めてであり、続いて境界、ブルニアンと結果が続けられたことは大きな成果であった。引き続き絡み目や底タングルの幾何学的性質と量子不変量の代数的性質の関係を明らかにしていきたい。
