本研究は老化基盤である「慢性炎症」に基づき食・栄養を総合的に評価し、外因である食・栄養からフレイル及び老年疾患への影響を理解した上で、主体的な抗炎症食・栄養の実践を促す食教育・改善プログラムの開発を目的とする。
今年度は地域の「フレイルチェック」プログラムに注目し、その担い手であるフレイルサポーターとともにフレイル予防に資する食意識・行動変容を促す実践プログラムを開発することを目的とした。具体的にはフレイルサポーターを対象に６回のグループワークを通して、食・栄養の実態から、食と免疫力の関係、抗炎症作用の食材を自分の食生活に取り入れる方法などを主体的にみつけ、実践できる内容で意識・行動変容を試みた。その結果、延べ６６名のフレイルサポーターが参加し、慢性炎症に基づく食・栄養の評価による抗炎症食の実践を行った。特に抗炎症作用を有する食材のなか、食物繊維に注目して、抗炎症作用の機序や多く含有している食材、摂取推奨量などを知り、自分の食生活に取り入れる方法をグループワークを通じて共有した。最終的には、自分の免疫力向上のメニューを考案してもらい、フレイルチェックの参加者に食と免疫力の関係を伝えながら、おすすめのメニューを伝えるシミュレーションを行う内容とした。今年度は参加者の基本属性、満足度、意識・行動変容のステージ変化などをまとめてグループワークの評価を行い、学会発表及び論文化を行う予定である。 -

As a research achievement of the peer-review paper, I could publish Sustainability [2020, IF: 3.251] 3 reports, JPM [2021, IF: 4.945], regarding the analysis (meso) of the cost-effectiveness of treatment predicted from the clinical trial results of each cancer type.
In addition, I could publish Drug Discovery Today [2020, IF: 7.321], Cancers [2021, IF: 6.639] regarding the comparison (micro) of pretreatment and posttreatment labor productivity by treatment technology of anticancer drug treatment in medical institutions. -

In the final year of the project, the research results were also reported at a relevant overseas conference, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, a top technology management conference. In addition, the principal investigator has been a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Advanced Life Research, Hokkaido University since 2016, and held a workshop on entrepreneurship in Sapporo every August, again this year on 4 and 5 August 2023. This partner university, Yonsei University, also invited me to give a related lecture in October. More than 20 related papers were also reported over the entire research period.
