    近年,アドホックネットワークは,IoT分野のみならず,自動車走行支援のITSや次世代電力網スマートグリッドに代表されるCPSなど, これからの社会基盤を担うであろう注目株な各技術において,積極的な活用が模索されている. このようなアプリケーションの多様化を背景に,異種アドホックネットワーク間相互接続の需要は拡大が見込まれる. また昨今,通信主体が人からモノへ変わったことで,ネットワークインフラには一層厳しい遅延保証が要求される傾向にあり, アドホックネットワークにおいても,通信遅延低減は主要な課題となりうる. 本研究では,プロトコルトランスレータ (GW) による異種アドホックネットワーク間の直接相互接続を想定し, ネットワーク中のフローに許容遅延制約が存在するとしたときの,GW配置最適化による許容遅延満足率最大化について提案する. 提案手法の性能をシミュレーションで評価し,さらにリンク切断予測の性能向上効果についても考察した.

    HTTP/2 では,単一接続上での要求多重化やサーバプッシュによりページロード時間 (PLT) 短縮を図っている.しかし,複数の接続を利用するマルチオリジン構成の Web ページにおいては,十分な PLT 短縮効果が得られない.これに対し,ページ書き換えに基づく接続集約により,多重化効率を向上する手法が提案されているが,スクリプトから動的に要求を送信する Web ページにおいては,この手法では完全な接続集約を行えない.本研究では ServiceWorker 用い,動的な Web ページにおいて完全な接続集約とクロスオリジンサーバプッシュを実現し,従来手法比最大 40% の PLT 短縮を達成した.

    In the wide-area distributed systems such as the Internet, it is important to ensure the robustness and the availability through data distribution and redundancy for disaster and failure. We propose a platform which called SDDE (Software Defined Disaster Emulation) to evaluate disaster resistance and disaster tolerance by emulating some disaster and failure. In this paper, we report an evaluation experiment of the disaster resistance for BGP routing system using our proposed SDDE platform.

    The authors have been researching and developing widely distributed storage environment that is characterized by high performance of random I/O access. It is difficult for conventional distributed storage to serve practicable performance for using virtualized machines, especially on live migration. In this paper, the authors show the latest result of performances of I/O on proposed distributed algorithm. A result of 24 thousands km live-migration demonstrated in SC13 (Supercomputer Conference 2013) is also shown.<br />

    ネットワーク管理者がネットワーク運用している時に,管理下のネットワークにおいてユーザからネットワークに繋がらないという漠然な報告が上がることがある.「つながらない」という状況を把握するために,ユーザサイドからのネットワーク観測が有効な場合があるが,ユーザからの報告は「つながらない」という漠然としたものになることが多くネットワーク障害を的確に報告することは難しい.そこで,ネットワーク運用者は.センサデバイスを用いユーザサイドのネットワーク状態を情報収集する事を行った.ネットワーク状態の情報を複数の階層的レイヤに整理することで,どこの階層的レイヤに問題があるのかを把握することができる.本投稿では,大学の無線ネットワーク環境で,センサデバイスを用いて各階層的レイヤを作成して計測した.ユーザサイドのネットワークをクラスタリングして時系列に解析し,ユーザサイドのネットワークとインターネットの相関を調査した.また,非階層型クラスタリングのアルゴリズムの k-means を利用して ping と DNS の RTT の分類をおこなった.

    In the wide-area distributed systems such as the Internet, it is important to ensure the robustness and the availability through data distribution and redundancy for disaster and failure. We propose a platform which called SDDE (Software Defined Disaster Emulation) to evaluate disaster resistance and disaster tolerance by emulating some disaster and failure. In this paper, we report an evaluation experiment of the disaster resistance for BGP routing system using our proposed SDDE platform.

    本稿では,複数大学のコンピュータリソースを相互に接続し,広域分散環境において頑強なデータ基盤を構築するためのアーキテクチャの提案を行う.本アーキテクチャは,多数のコンピュータリソースをもちいて大規模なストレージ空間を実現するクラスタストレージ技術を応用し,広域分散環境で信頼性の高いデータ基盤を実現する.本アーキテクチャによって実現されるデータ基盤は,地理的に離れた3カ所以上の「マルチサイト」から同時にアクセスが可能であり,かつ一カ所での更新がリアルタイムに他サイトに反映されることを特徴とする.同データ基盤は単一の巨大なファイルシステムとしてPOSIX準拠の標準的なアクセス手段を提供し,かつ,ランダムアクセスによるファイル入出力を可能とする.将来的には,地理的に離れた拠点間で仮想OSのライブマイグレーションができることを目指す.

    We did measurement and appraisal of the IPv6 Internet in order to grasp that present network condition. We observed the network delay between duak-stack server and client, and measured IPv6 network delay as compared to IPv4 network delay. On the basis of this measurement result, we evaluate the present condition of the IPv6 Internet. As a result, we presumed the conclusion, as 68% IPv6 user used the tunnel connection and that is a cause of the big network delay at IPv6 communication in present time (June 2010).

    As the Internet have become an important infrastructure in everyday life in recent years, the need to increase the degree of quality control has also arisen. Because it is necessary to accurately understand the state of the network for quality control, time information on measurement equipment has become important. Consequently, we have aimed at improving the precision of time synchronization through the network and propose highly precise time synchronization techniques that utilize network support. Two approaches are MTQ (Maximum Transmission Queue) and QTL (Queue To Live) both employing the suggested "self-discarding packet technique", which is a means of determining transfer by comparing the queue length of the transiting router with a specified queue value on the probing packet. In this paper, we clarify the influence a router has on the precision of time synchronization and report these two approaches and their adaptability.

    VLAN is in the method of using a network flexibly in LAN. This VLAN is logical LAN built on the network consisted of some switches (Switch Network), and many switch networks are used for this use. In a switch network, existence of apparatus cannot be checked from IP layer. Therefore, it is difficult to specify a problem at the network troubleshooting. This research describes the technique of presuming the number of the switch apparatus in a unknown link and reports the result of an evaluation experiment of the proposal technique.

    With its increasing demand, today's network is facing to deal with a large amount of circuit capacity. Since bandwidth of access networks becomes a few Mbps now with ADSL networks and others, that of backbone networks exceeds 10 Gbps. For that kind of high-speed networks, the time granularity of measuring instruments matters while measuring the networks. The time granularity of today's generally used PCs (AT compatible machine) has its jitter at about 10 microseconds depending on performance of a crystal oscillator inside the PC. This degree of accuracy would not be enough to measure the bandwidth on high-speed networks mentioned above. We used high-accurate servers that could be enabled on an external signal at 10MHz instead of an internal crystal oscillator to measure the network. The tools that are presently widespread are used to measure the network and prove their usefulness in the paper.

    In the Internet, becase of its huge scale and distributed administration, it is sometime difficult to measure internal states of the network directly, and thus, statistical/indirect ways to infer network-internal characteristics from end-to-end measurement have been studied. In particular, inferring link losses from end-to-end measurement along a tree-like path topology has been successfully developed in recent researches, which should be followed by deployment in practical uses. In this paper, therefore, we present an experiment of inferring link losses using end-to-end packet pair probing in the actual Internet, and show that it can infer link loss rates within 1% relative-errors in various network conditions. We also address applications for the inference method.

    This paper propose Multicast routing performance evaluation scheme using the PC based router. It is well known that most of CPU's instruction throughput is consumed in multicast traffic by interface's interrupts and memory copy. We measured PC's performance in the teleconference over broadband networks using DVTS to determine actual cause of performance problem. As a result, we confirmed that due to ATM-NIC's interruption on a multicast server gave greater influence on multicast routing performance.

    In this paper, we describe our super high-quality video transport systems on the Internet. We have researched and developed technologies to transport high-quality video images such as DV format, D1 format and HDTV format which have higher quality than MPEG-2. We have already confirmed their usefulness and practical use by carrying out experiments and events on the JGN(Japan Gigabit Network). Currently, we are doing design and research on application software for Internet broad casting using our video transport technologies. We describe required functions for real-time and distance editing which can be applied to Internet Broadcasting.

    Thanks to rapid progress in electronic commerce and the like on the Internet, data has been managed and authenticated using time information.     令和2年度は、提案手法における障害事例共有知の構築に向けた共有知データ構造の定義を進めた。また、変動するネットワーク障害検出において利用するための、多数のセンサデバイスを統合制御する仕組みを構築した。
    共有知データ構造形式の評価に際して、プロトタイプ実装を用いた実証実験において評価を進める予定としていたが、COVID-19の影響により検証に活用する予定の大規模イベントが中止となったことで、評価手法の変更を余儀なくされた。加えて、ネットワーク障害情報共有に向けたワーキンググループ設立に向けた取り組みに関してもCOVID-19による制約を受け、ネットワーク運用者との議論を密に取ることが困難となり、当初予定していた取り組みを達成できなかった。そこで、当該年度に導入予定としていた機械学習用サーバの導入と整備に注力し、開発環境の構築を実施した。また、ネットワーク状態の継続的な計測への取り組みとして、インターネット上に配置した性能計測サイト:iNoniusスピードテストサイトと連携し、継続的なネットワーク品質計測の仕組みを確立し、2020年時点における日本のインターネット分析を実施して報告した。
    変動するネットワーク障害検出においては、多数のセンサデバイスを活用した無線LAN環境の評価を目指し、計測ノードを統合管理するためのエージェントシステムを開発した。Raspberry Pi上での動作を想定し、計測ノード上のエージェントが管理システムに都度問い合わせすることで制御する仕組みで、数十台規模での実証実験を行った。また、コンテナ技術を活用し、物理的な計測ノードによる複数ネットワーク環境の評価を検討し、適用範囲と課題点を整理し報告した。これらの実装および検討を次年度の評価実験に活用する予定としている。

    A new era of worldwide interconnection of a large number of microelectronic devices and innumerable sensors and actuators has arrived. This technology is called IoT (Internet of Things) and has become widely known in the last few years.
    In this research, we developed a "micro security gateway" (Raspberry Gate) to secure information security in IoT environment. We also studied the mechanism that "the decision making mechanism using social network" (Raspberry Guardian) creates and distributes the security update that keeps the setting of this device updated. We also carried out the spread enlightenment of these results in and out of the country.

    In a network-troubleshooting situation, an end user tend to tell highly unclear reports like as 'just can not connect'. In most cases, it's hard to measure from a client side to clarify the detail of the network trouble. We proposed a mechanism for measuring network condition from client-side and gathering results to grasp the detail of the network trouble. We classify elements of a network trouble by layer, and thereby define a description of network connectivity.
    In this study, we implemented the proposed method on multiple client OS, and we evaluated its effectiveness in real network environment. This experiment suggested that the quality in the wireless network accounted for a large proportion of the total impact. Therefore, we confirmed that we can realize our proposed method by combining with wireless quality evaluation in user environment.
